This “Working Research Paper” focuses on public policies and tools aiming to support housing primarily in European cities. More precisely, it presents indicative examples of innovative (mostly local) actions developed around the themes of housing affordability, housing sustainability, social inclusion and community participation, as well as indicative examples of public structures and services related to housing. The final version of this manuscript will acquire the form of a final “Report” (the upcoming Deliverable 7.1.1) under the title “Review of the European Housing Policy at the Local Level” and will be enriched with additional selected examples of innovative housing policies, projects and initiatives, implemented primarily at the local level across European cities.
